Inspections are required annually in the State of Wisconsin on all conveyances (elevators, dumbwaiters, Type B material lifts, escalators, vertical and inclined platform lifts and stairway chairlifts) and at time of installation and after alterations, repairs and replacement of certain components.
We coordinate with your contractors to schedule certification, ensuring your unit meets all regulations and passes safety and functionality tests.
Once complete, we submit the inspection results to the state and ensure your certificate is delivered, allowing you to put your unit into operation.

HIS inspectors are qualified to witness required category testing.
All category 1 tests must be performed at 1-year intervals. All category 5 tests must be performed at 5-year intervals. There are no exceptions in years where both are due. Each category has separate tests and most do not overlap categories.
